Join us for our next IKS Invited Speaker Series with Professor Ben Byunghwan Son of George Mason University, who is also a proud Mizzou Political Science alum, on Friday, October 16th. Professor Son is an expert in the comparative political economy of Asia. His recent work examines issues of inequality and democratic support, public confidence in governments, and exchange rate regimes/international reserves, and is published in leading field journals such as the Journal of Politics, Journal of East Asian Studies, and International Political Science Review.
He will be giving a research talk on "Autocratization and Public Health Outcomes: The Cases of Korea, India, and Venezuela," followed by a special Mentorship Session for all interested Mizzou PhD students.
