Song Byeok's art is funny, shocking, and politically engaged.  Born in North Korea, he was a state propaganda artist before his defection to South Korea in 2002.  He now delivers the message of freedom and individuality through his art, with exhibitions that take him all over the world and that have earned him international acclaim.
