Reception to follow

Please join us to celebrate the launch of MU’s Institute for Korean Studies (IKS) with a special event featuring Grace Jo.  A former refugee from North Korea, Grace is now a nationally known speaker and is featured in the documentary “I am Grace,” which charts her journey from refugee status to American citizen.  The event will include a screening of the documentary, remarks by Grace Jo, and the formal launch of IKS by co-directors Harrison Kim (History) and Sheena Chestnut Greitens (Political Science).  A reception with food and drinks will follow the event.
