Prof. Kim specializes in South Korea's national space strategy and defense space technology. He is the author of The Stages of Development and Termination of Wars between States: A Strategy for Conflict Management (Edwin Mellen Press, 2008), Democracies and Use of Forces: Iraq War, Kosovo War, and Korea-US Alliance (Sogang University Press, 2014), and Conversation with the Military: Civil-Military Relations and Rivals in World War 1 and World War 2 (Sogang University Press, 2021).
